What are DAOs?

One of the major features of digital currencies is that they are decentralized. This means they are not controlled by a single institution like a government or central bank, but instead are divided among a variety of computers, networks, and nodes. In many cases, virtual currencies make use of this decentralized status to attain levels of privacy and security that are typically unavailable to standard currencies and their transactions.

The DAO was an organization that was designed to be automated and decentralized. DAOs are an effective and safe way to work with like-minded folks around the globe. Think of them like an internet-native business that’s collectively owned and managed by its members. They have built-in treasuries that no one has the authority to access without the approval of the group. Decisions are governed by proposals and voting to ensure everyone in the organization has a voice.

There’s no CEO who can authorize spending based on their own whims and no chance of a dodgy CFO manipulating the books. Everything is out in the open and the rules around spending are baked into the DAO via its code.

Ashera Verify is the first step to creating a DAO system. Gateway to verify members. This is our step to select suitable members to enter the DAO system. This verification is also useful to avoid our members who are bots.

Steps to Verify

1. Visit our verify website, make sure you visit the right website : https://verify.asherasol.com/
2. Connect your wallet with Phantom, Solflare, or Sollet (Note : we don’t ask for any permissions, we only verify ownership of a wallet by signing a message).
3. Check your wallet pop-up and sign message to prove that you are owner of the wallet.
4. Connect your Discord account by clicking on the “chain” icon next to the discord logo and you will get the Verified Wallet role.
5. Optional : Verify your email address by clicking on the“chain” icon beside email logo and enter your email address to get Verified Email role. A verification email will be sent to your email, if not, please check your Spam folder.

Additional Roles

Developers can add Additional Discord Roles for their members who hold their tokens. Developers are free to set the minimum number of tokens they must hold to determine their roles.

For example, additional roles for Ashera Discord :

• Meow : Hold 50k — 2.49m $ASH
• Hypercat : Hold 2.5m — 4.99m $ASH
• Supercat : Hold more than 5m $ASH\

Update Plan

This is an early stage for Ashera Verify, there are still many other developments to be done. Updates will come continuously.

• Create a twitter bot to spread DAO messages to DAO members
• Added a function to verify the NFT of a project
